Dynamic content accessibility (dynamic-content)

Dynamic content changes (e.g., through JavaScript) that affect the visible UI, are communicated to users of assistive technologies. This includes updating the accessible name, role, etc.

Alt text not updated:

This image's source changes automatically (every 3 seconds), but the text alternative (alt attribute) doesn't reflect these changes:

A close-up portrait of a wolf-like dog standing in shallow water: its thick black and cream fur is damp and flecked with sand, framing a striking face with a white muzzle and piercing pale blue eyes that stare directly at the camera.

(The alt attribute will always say "A close-up portrait of a wolf-like dog standing in shallow water: its thick black and cream fur is damp and flecked with sand, framing a striking face with a white muzzle and piercing pale blue eyes that stare directly at the camera.")

Note: Impossible to auto-test. Requires a human tester/AI to determine if content changes are communicated properly.
