Content lost on reflow (reflow-visibility)

Ensure that no essential content disappears or becomes obscured when the viewport is resized or zoomed.


Sticky footer blocks content:

A large sticky footer remains fixed and covers a significant portion of the viewport at small heights/zoom. As you scroll or tab, parts of the page content and the visible focus can be hidden behind the footer.


Reduce the browser window height or zoom in to ~400%. Notice how the footer obscures content at the bottom of the viewport.

Keyboard focus may move behind the sticky footer and become invisible.

Important information can be hidden until you scroll above the footer.

Note: Impossible to fully automate. Requires human testing or AI to verify that content and visible focus are not obscured by sticky regions at small viewport heights. Partial automation can flag large sticky regions that persist below height thresholds.
