Text variation conveys meaning (text-variation)

Do not rely on visual formatting (e.g., bold, underline, strike-through) alone to convey meaning. When formatting indicates status or significance (e.g., “new”, “deleted”, “required”), include the same information in text.


Strike-through only indicates “deleted”:

In the feature list below, strike-through is used to indicate that an item is deleted, but there is no textual indicator such as “(Removed)”.
